Maple Springs Fire Department Participates in County-Wide Active Shooter Threat Drill at Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School

On March 1, 2025, a County-wide Active Shooter Threat Planning Drill was conducted at Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School in Bemus Point. The drill involved key personnel from the Maple Springs Fire Department, including Chief Douglas Conroe and Assistant Chief Barry Swanson, who participated as EMTs. EMT Charles Holder contributed to the planning and implementation of the drill. Maple Grove students took on the role of victim patients during the exercise.
